This 10 day training course is to help an Entrepreneur become 'start-up' ready, focusing on how to prepare business plans, what market research and marketing tools are available, how to manage cash flow and making the most out of technology. If you are setting up your own business for the first time, this is a practical course which will give you an understanding of all the requirements and challenges you are likely to encounter.

This Start Your Own Business Course will be delivered on line via Zoom on the following dates: 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, 30th September & 5th, 7th October - Time: 6.30pm - 9.00pm(Finish times may vary slightly per day)

Objective:


This online programme is to provide participants with the skills to assess the viability of their business ideas and provide a strong understanding of the essential elements involved in setting up and running your own business


Modules to be covered include:

  • Identifying, understanding and researching the target market.
  • Developing your Business Plan / Lean Canvas Model.
  • Promoting your Business and building the brand.
  • Regulations, legal requirements, tax, law and insurance.
  • Financial planning (pricing, costing etc) and sources of finance.
  • Digital marketing for your Business.
  • Maximise your website to increase sales – content writing and imagery. Video Marketing.
  • Developing the sales pitch.
  • Employment law.
  • Basic Book-keeping.
