These online/telephone one-to-one mentoring clinics will be facilitated by Alison Cummins from AC Insights.

Date & Delivery Method

  • Thursday 8th September 2022
  • Each session will be 1 hour & 30 mins in duration and will be delivered online via Zoom or telephone. The business mentor will contact business owners prior to the meeting to organise the exact time of meeting.

Overview of the Mentoring Sessions

  • We are offering these free mentoring sessions to help you to look at innovative ways to market your food business in Co. Leitrim. If you feel you need assistance in pricing your product, looking at routes to market, what H&S rules you should meet etc. then this clinic will help you.

  • You will be requested to fill out an application form which will give the consultant some information on the type of marketing you use and some background to your business. On completion you will be required to fill out a one page evaluation form.

  • Alison is a Food Industry expert with 15-years hands-on experience that includes working with large retail and food service clients. She works as a consultant and mentor to micro businesses and SME’s supporting and assisting them to grow, scale, export and increase their turnover.
  • She can assist companies with regulatory compliance working with Food Regulators (FSAI, GB/NI Food Standards Authority) to establish criteria and pathway to accreditation for food products entering the Irish, European, UK and NI markets.
  • Alison's qualifications include a BSc (Hons) Food Science & technology, BSc Process Technologies and MSc Food Business Management.
