The National Enterprise Awards competition is open to small businesses that have received financial support from the Local Enterprise Office.   Eligible businesses for the National Final must be;

·         Current clients of LEO Limerick.

·         Employ ten or less staff.

·         Be involved in manufacturing or an internationally traded service.

·         Have received one or more financial supports from LEO Limerick.

Additional competition categories which are open to all micro enterprises in Limerick with up to 10 employees include;

·         Green/Sustainability

·         Best Start Up

·         Innovation

The LEO Limerick winners  will be announced during Local Enterprise Week on Monday, 6th March 2023.  The Limerick winner will go through to the National Final which will take place in the Mansion House, Dublin, on Thursday June 1st 2023.

Celebrating over 25 years, the National Enterprise Awards was first introduced in 1998 to celebrate the contribution that small businesses make to the Irish economy. The aim of the National Enterprise Awards is to showcase, encourage and support a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurship in our communities in Ireland, to promote entrepreneurship and to showcase, encourage and to celebrate the achievement of clients of the LEOs.  Previous participants have benefitted from increased publicity, networking and marketing opportunities.
