With this Customs Workshop on Preparing for Brexit, help is on hand to assist you in learning all you need to know about Brexit and tackling these new issues for your business.

This course will help you:

Understand How to Start the Import/Export Journey, including:
  • What are Customs, the Role of Revenue and the HMRC, Obtaining an Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) Number and How to Engage with a Customs Agent and Understanding the Customs System
Understand Customs Basics, including:
  • Completing Customs Declarations: the Classification of Goods, Valuation of Goods for Customs and the Rules of Origin and Trade Agreements, as well as Determining the Tariff Classification or Tariff Code
Understanding Customs Declarations, including:
  • Import and Export Procedures and Documentation
Understanding Additional Customs Facilitations, including:
  • Deferred Payment and its Authorisation, VAT Registration and Authorisation and Comprehensive Guarantee
 Customs Duty Reliefs, including:
  • Inward and Outward Processing and Customs Warehousing, as well as End Use and Temporary Admission and Authorisations, Management and Reporting
Understanding AEO/Trusted Trader, including:
  • Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) and Trusted Authorisation which helps facilitate the movement of goods through Customs, as well as Customs Bonds and Guarantee
Understanding Industry Specific Issues, including:
  • Import of Agri and Food Product Rules, Plant-Based Imports and Import Requirements for Chemicals, as well as Export Controls
