Following registration with Tea/coffee the first session will address how to manage an employee with illness/disability in the workplace and what an employer's obligations are in terms of reasonable accommodation in accordance with equality legislation.  The second session will address situations in the workplace involving interpersonal disputes (e.g. bullying and harassment allegations).  We will look at some fundamental 'must-do's in order to ensure compliance with the relevant codes of practice.  Both of these sessions will involve a look at the relevant legislation and decided cases from the Tribunals and the Courts and should qualify for CPD points.  The evening will finish with wine and refreshments.
