MAKE 2017 MORE PROFITABLE

MAKE 2017 MORE PROFITABLE

“If you dream of a more profitable business in 2017, then our Lean Programme is for you” opens Peggy McGlynn, Business Advisor at the Local Enterprise Office Louth.

“Lean” is an internationally recognised process to improve business efficiency. It helps businesses to do things quicker, better and cheaper. It is especially important for older companies who can benefit hugely from stopping to scrutinise how their business operates. By evaluating current systems, examining new methods and systems and selecting the right ones to introduce, companies can become more efficient and profitable.

Peggy continued “Lean allows business to use the resources they have more productively and thereby reduce costs, improve efficiency and ultimately increase profitability. There’s a common misconception that Lean is a technique for manufacturing industries but it is suitable for all sectors of business including service industries. It is ideal for companies that are more than 5 years in operation but probably most effective for companies established more than 10 years.”

The Local Enterprise Office Louth is hosting a free information seminar on Lean and business owners are invited to attend. It takes place on Thursday 1st December from 10.00am-12.00noon at the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross. Talk to Peggy today on 042 9324157 or email peggy.mcglynn@leo.louthcoco.ie to register for this seminar.

Peggy concluded “Taking part in this programme is a real opportunity to improve your business operations. Join us for the information seminar to find out more and make 2017 the year that your business becomes more efficient and profitable.”
