Innovate Accelerate Europe

An exciting new International Trade Readiness Programme available for small Food and Drink Businesses in the Louth, Meath and Newry Mourne & Down district.

Has Brexit and Covid made you look at alternative ways to grow and better yourself and your business? Then this programme is for you! Stay ahead of your competition and potentially increase your earnings by looking at the opportunities beyond the island of Ireland. You will need to internationalise, secure new markets and acquire knowledge of better ways to do what you do. There is no greater need for an International Trade Readiness Programme than now.

Why do this Programme?

  • The InnovateAccelerate Europe Pilot Programme is uniquely available to food and drink businesses based in the Boyne/Gullion/Mourne trade corridor between Dublin and Belfast which covers the Newry Mourne & Down district and counties Louth and Meath. The Programme this year will focus on small food and drink companies because they will be among the most challenged by Brexit, and Covid, which means food and drink companies must find new ways of presenting, promoting and selling their products. There is currently no other programme of support like it available anywhere on the island of Ireland.

Benefits of Joining the Programme

  • A specialist mentor will work with you to produce a bespoke “International Activity Readiness Assessment of your company. This will prioritise actions against which a further €500 can be deployed to help you implement your strategy.
  • An expert team will work with you to create a professionally produced promotional video of your company which will then be platformed across social media to maximise your international reach.
  • In 4 training sessions you will be taken on a virtual journey of self-reflection, into the opportunities and challenges of exporting and on through the experience of participating in a major trade fair in a key target EU market, guided by experienced “Champions” who’ve successfully internationalised already.
  • An Enterprise Agency team will be prospecting on your behalf across the EU to identify new opportunities, working closely with a network of EU-based agents to set up online meetings for you with businesses in the EU which have the potential to be future business partners.

This programme is supported by the Local Enterprise Office, no cost to your business.
