This course will equip participants with the knowledge, skills and competence to produce and maintain accurate bookkeeping records for their business, using both manual and computerised systems. The course will incorporate all elements of basic book keeping in order to equip participants with the skills to maintain a paper-based book keeping system and give them the necessary basic knowledge of Tax and VAT registration. The course will be delivered through a combination of workshops, online learning resources and follow-up mentoring. Workshops will be held on Friday mornings over 8 consecutive weeks, with the exception of the October bank holiday weekend.
