This workshop is suitable for anyone who is setting up or even considering starting a food business. An introduction is given to food safety and the requirements of meeting relevant legislation. It outlines the steps necessary to register with the Environmental Health Officer and to meet the requirements of the FSAI and other competent authorities. The standards needed to meet approval as a retail supplier are covered and the process of meeting BRC accreditation is also explained. The learner will be given the knowledge to access support and resources and shown pathways to further training.
