Taking place on Tuesday 5th March as part of Local Enterprise Week, this conference will give crucial tips and knowledge to small enterprises that will help them promote their business more effectively. There are a range of expert speakers on the day, and proceedings will be MC’d by Neil Delamere.

This event is perfect for any small business looking to navigate the increasing of online and offline promotional tools to promote their business effectively. This will also include advice on how to deal with the media (both online and off line content) and what media is most effective for different types of businesses. Impact of BREXIT on business and BREXIT preparation tools will also be discussed.

  • Aine Kerr, Journalist and co-founder of Kinzen. A teacher turned journalist, Aine will speak about her own personal journey of changing jobs, pushing beyond the comfort zone and saying yes to new opportunities. Aine will address the principles of Innovation, practical tools for building innovative organizations and how to build a brand via social media channels.
  • William Egenton, Managing Director, Dromone Engineering. Discussing how Dromone continues to innovate and employ LEAN technologies to provide customers with superior performing products with 40+ years in business. Dromone is an industry leading Irish company with Headquarters in Oldcastle, Co. Meath and employs over 140 people across a range of functions including operations, engineering and marketing. William will focus on Dromone's current innovations in the context of IOT and Digital Age.
  • Dorcas Reamonn, Digital Marketing Lecturer, Talentpool. Dorcas will provide top tips and advice for small businesses trading online with a focus on promoting themselves in the digital age.
  • Mark Baldwin, CEO, Globopod. A past winner of Meath’s Best Young Entrepreneur and Finalist in Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur will speak about his experiences in starting a cutting edge business in the ed-tech sector from just an idea in the classroom.
