National Enterprise Awards 2017

Competition now open

The Local Enterprise Office, Monaghan is looking for a business to represent our County at the National Enterprise Awards Finals which will take place on Thursday 25th May 2017.

The Awards - organised by the National network of Local Enterprise Offices - celebrates the achievements of Ireland’s micro-enterprise sector. The awards recognise and celebrate the success stories of small business owners from all over the country.

The following awards will be announced and presented at the County Monaghan Final of the competition, to be held at a lunch on Thursday March 9th 2017.

  • Best Start Up Business Award
  • Best Established Business Award
  • The Innovation Award
  • Overall Winner
  • The Overall Winner will go forward to represent County Monaghan at the National Finals, the winners of which will be announced on Thursday May 25th 2017.
  • All applicant businesses must have been in receipt of direct LEO supports under one or more of the following interventions:
  1. Grant aid
  2. Mentoring Programme
  3. Trading Online Voucher Scheme
  4. Participation on LEO Training Programmes
  5. MicroFinance Ireland Scheme
  • If you wish to enter, please check the Eligibility Criteria and if you meet the criteria, you must submit the following:
  1. Two hard copies of NEA Application Form and
  2. A Business Plan, together with the most recent set of financial statements.
