Monaghan LEADER Funding Programme Now Open

A total budget of €7.59 million has been awarded for implementation and delivery of the LEADER Programme until the end of 2020. The funding was awarded based on a Local Development Strategy (LDS) which sets out the priority areas for the programme. The priorities in the strategy were identified through consultation with the local community in late 2015.

A series of public events has been organised to provide more information on the funding available under the new Monaghan LEADER Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. These are essential support events for communities, rural businesses and social enterprises who wish to access LEADER funding for their projects. You can find out about the process of application for LEADER funding and pick-up your ‘expression of interest’ form at one of these information events.
