Monaghan Women in Business play host to National Women’s Enterprise Day

IMG_9598The very active and vibrant Monaghan Women in Business network, an initiative by Local Enterprise Office Monaghan, is holding this important event as part of National Women’s Enterprise Day.

The event will include presentations by three women in business – two of whom are from County Monaghan and the third with local family connections.
Our panel has been selected to represent different business sectors at different stages of development.

Sammy Leslie represents the hospitality, tourism and recreational sectors. The Castle Leslie brand is now well established at national and international level.

Lisa Marie Clinton – - represents women in IT. Her recently developed app promotes learning and independence for children and adults with Autism or Intellectual Disabilities. Her product has recently been launched in the U.S. Market.

Victoria Mary Clarke will tell us how to get noticed and secure space in the media. In addition to sharing this valuable information and insights, which are relevant to all businesses, Victoria’s business model – which is based on personal skills – is low risk and has low capital requirements. This model is attractive to many of our members and one which many wish to emulate.

The event will include exhibits by Monaghan Women in Business members and business support agencies including the Enterprise Europe Network, Monaghan Local Enterprise Office and PLATO East Border Region.
