For 2021, Aldi are making a particular call out for any products with sustainable features, this can be characteristics of the actual product or the method in which the product has been produced.

Aldi will choose 50 of those suppliers, whose products will feature in one of Aldi’s ‘Grow with Aldi’ Special buys event. A final five of the products will then be chosen to become a core range listing in all of Aldi’s 145 stores nationwide.

Over 80 products went on sale in 2020 as part of the Grow with Aldi Supplier Development Programme. Five suppliers were then chosen to form part of the core range nationwide.

Speaking about how Grow with Aldi programme has benefitted Lisduff Fine Foods, Katie Tormey said: “It really helped our business during a very hard time and to be honest couldn’t of came at a better time. The whole experience helped when business began to slow down and gave us a boost throughout a difficult time. Even down to Aldi organising us to get quicker than usual so no one was under pressure. They really thought of everything to ensure everyone was ok and enjoying the experience.”

If your product is Irish made, we want to hear from you!
