Funding for Your Business

Finding funding for your business can be tricky. To try and make this a bit easier for you we have brought together different agencies, including ourselves the Local Enterprise Office, the Department of Employment Affairs & Social Protection and LEADER to give you an overview of the schemes and grants that they have available to businesses.

Local Enterprise Office

We will be giving you an overview of the different grants we have available. We will also give an overview of eligibility criteria and how to apply. Our Grants advisor, Briege Quinn will be there to answer any questions you might have. Some of the funding opportunities include:

• Technical Assistance for Micro Exporters Grant

Department of Employment Affairs & Social Protection

A representative from the Department of Employment Affairs Social Protection will give an overview of the different funding opportunities they have available to businesses including:

• Jobsplus
• Yess, the new Youth Employment Support Scheme
• Back to Work Enterprise Allowance
• Jobs Ireland

• and the Activation service in general

LEADER

A representative from LEADER will also be joining us. The Monaghan LEADER programme provides funding for projects across the county that promote social inclusion, develop the local economy through enterprise and tourism, and protect the environment.  LEADER can provide help and support for new enterprises to start up or existing enterprises to expand, through capital assistance, training and support for Analysis and Development.
