Google for SMEs:

 Google provides a range of tools that businesses can utilise to manage, organise and promote their business. This course will be designed to educate business owners and managers on how to integrate these tools into their business and use them to their full capacity.

 Programme Focus;

  • Workshop 1 G-Suite; this workshop will give an overview and functionality of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slides & Docs and how they could offer an alternative to traditional Microsoft packages. It will also cover Google My Buisness and allow for the creation of a Google My Business account, which plays a crucial role in local SEO.
  • Workshop 2 GoogleSearch Console & Analytics; Particpants will be taught to create a Google Search Console account and be show how to submit an XML sitemap, conncect their Google Analytics account and more importantly interpret the Seach Console data. Also included in this particular workshop is creating dashboards, scheduling reports and creating goals and filters.
  • Workshop 3 Google Ads; Businesses will learn how to register for and create a Google Ads account and link to their earlier created Google Ananlytics account. This is an important step in running Ad campaigns as businesses need to track the return on investment. Other topics include: setting budgets, search ads campaign and remarketing of same.
  • Workshop 4 Ads (2) will focus on the creation of a Video Ads campaign, Merchant account, creating a Shopping Campaign and the all important Analysing your Campaign Data

Target Audience:

This course is designed for businesses with a website/ecommerce website or ready to launch a website. Ideally the business would have advertising budget to put into practice the Google Ads skills they will gain through the course. The course will also cover free to use tools like Google Analytics and Google My Business so business owner/managers can analyse their digital performance and other Google tools like G-Suite as an alternative to traditional software packages.

 This in-depth programme will be held over 4 half-day workshops with two onsite visits allowing consultants to help businesses implement the knowledge gained during the workshops.
