Launch of Regional E-Commerce Cluster

This will be the official launch of the new North East E-Commerce Cluster. We hope to encourage interested perspective participants to come along to hear more about what membership of the cluster will offer their business. Outlined below is an overview of the cluster, including who is eligible and what is involved.

North East E-Commerce Cluster

Businesses in the North East need to be prepared to embrace eCommerce wholeheartedly to be in with a chance of ‘cashing in’ on the opportunity to sell more products online. The Local Enterprise Offices in Monaghan, Cavan, Meath and Louth, have developed a special programme called ‘eCommerce Cluster’ to assist local businesses get to the next level of online selling.  It will provide education and practical support that includes advice and training to make a success of the online aspect of their business; and to make sure that they will get a return for the investment of having an eCommerce website.

Whether it be issues with online marketing, finding which platform best suits your business or the logistics of trading online, this is a great opportunity to discuss these issues with likeminded owners/managers and tease out potential solutions.

The programme is open to businesses that have been trading online for the past 12 months and who have the capacity to avail of the supports on offer.

Benefits of Membership include:

  • 4 Masterclasses: The cluster will be joined by guest speakers offering an insight into specific ecommerce themes.
  • Website Audit and Review: Each cluster member will receive an audit of their current website where areas for improvement will be highlighted in a website review document.
  • 1 to 1 Mentoring: Each member can avail of a 1 to 1 mentoring service to work on and help improve areas identified in the website audit process.
  • eCommerce Improvement Plan: Each member will receive a tailored business improvement plan so that they can develop and improve the eCommerce area of their business going forward.
