The Trainer is Mark Ivers and he possesses an MBA and BA at an educational level and has many courses behind him including Health and Safety, Safe Pass, VDU Assessor and Manual Handling.  He has delivered a range of training courses and consultancy services on a variety of topics including Health and Safety.  He works with Optimum with LEO Clients in most business related areas and has a comprehensive understanding of Micro Enterprises and SMEs having set up businesses in Ireland and Internationally.

The workshop is mainly concentrating on providing information to small businesses  on the Return to Work Safely Protocol prepared by the Department of Business, Enterprise and the Department of Health and overseas best practice particularly New Zealand.   It is not aligned to the programmes for Construction Workers on  Compliance Officer Training where certification is provided.
