Programme Launch - Midlands One to Two Growth Initiative 2017

(For Entrepreneurs in Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath)

Designed to help sole traders or business people who have no employees, this programme will give these entrepreneurs the skills and support they need to help them grow their business and take on their first staff member.

The launch is designed to help potential participants find out what’s involved in the initiative. The cost of the programme itself is just €150 which includes 4 full day workshops plus three individual mentoring sessions.

Programme Duration:    4 full day workshops plus Networking event

One to One Mentoring

Three to four one-to-one mentoring visits with a business mentor are included in the programme fee and follow up support by phone and email.

 The Midlands One to Two Growth Initiative is a comprehensive offering by the Local Enterprise Offices in Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath in supporting business growth and creating employment.

This programme facilitates the participants to gain the skills and knowledge and resources to take on new staff and grow their business with confidence by:

  1. Assessing where their business is at.
  2. Looking at the potential areas of growth for their business.
  3. Assisting the participants in learning the skills of recruitment, selection and managing staff to maximise their business potential.
  4. Deciding the best strategies and formulating a practical plan for business growth.
  5. Assisting the participant on a one to one basis to grow their business with assistant of their assigned business mentor.
  6. Enabling the participants to promote and market their business effectively.

This Programme is led by a team of trainers and mentors from the renowned business training company TalentPool Ltd’s at www.TalentPoolltd.ie

The programme is designed for entrepreneurs looking to grow their business by acquiring additional business skills supported by industry experts who will work with them on a one to one basis.

Opportunity to promote your business

A participant blog will be established and each participant will have the opportunity to contribute at least one article each based on their experience throughout the programme
