Export Awareness - Ballinasloe - 9th November 2016

If so, we would like to invite you to an Awareness Event on Exporting. This event is designed to support companies thinking of exporting for the first time or those that are in the early stages of exporting. A range of supports will be outlined to help companies prepare to export and to win new business overseas.

Hosted by Conor Fahy, this session will take the form of an interactive conversation with Michael Earls, Founder and Managing Director of EASYFIX , Ballinasloe. Established in 1996, EASYFIX has developed sales in over 30 countries including US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.  EASYFIX design, develop and manufacture a wide portfolio of award winning and innovative products exclusively for beef, dairy, veal, equine, gym, crèche, decking and safety markets.

EASYFIX European Sales Manager, PJ Burke will also speak on the challenges of opening new accounts and growing existing accounts in foreign markets.

Get Export Ready, Enterprise Ireland. 

Conor Fahy, Manager, Potential Exporters Division, Enterprise Ireland.                   This session walks participants through the Enterprise Ireland programmes that support new and early stage exporters. It will cover the range of information, training, and financial products EI has available to new and early stage exporters.

Thinking Export - Local Enterprise Office (LEO).

Breda Fox,   Head of Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Galway, will outline the suite of supports available from the Local Enterprise Offices, to drive the development of small business in the region that are considering an export agenda.

Currency Risk and Foreign Exchange – Ulster Bank

Jessica Martin, Regional Treasury Manager for the Midlands and West,  will address risks to consider when exporting - Currency Risk and how to manage your Foreign Exchange exposure, Financial & Country Risk and the benefits of Trade Finance products such as letters of credit and guarantees. Implications of Brexit.
