USING  SOCIAL  MEDIA  FOR  BUSINESS (12 maximum)

This is an introductory course for businesses that want to start using social media for business.   It will outline the main social media platforms in use in Ireland and provide guidance on how to use social media as a marketing tool.

HOW  TO  USE  PAID  ADVERTISING  EFFECTIVELY  ON  FACEBOOK  (12 maximum)

63% of the Irish population have a Facebook account and 70% check in to FB at least once a day.  The average user checks their FB feed 150 times a day.  FB advertising is something that every business owner should consider using to reach customers and potential customers.

THE  POTENTIAL  FOR  LINKEDIN  FOR  BUSINESS  (12 maximum)

The course is designed for businesses that are interested in creating a strong business brand and getting more business through LinkedIn.   The aim of the training is to demonstrate the features and functionality of LinkedIn both for the individual and the business and how to showcase your business with LinkedIn Company pages.   Participants will learn how to utilise LinkedIn to obtain relevant news on your industry and how to pass and receive referrals.

HOW  TO  SELL  SUCCESSFULLY   (12 maximum)

This course provides practice-based learning and is designed to help start-up and existing micro-enterprises undertake greater skills-based selling activity.  It aims to provide participants with the necessary skills to sell effectively to new and existing customers.  Participants will be provided with tips and techniques for handling all stages of the sales process, leading to increased confidence in selling.

The aim of the training is to demonstrate to participants the 3 steps to becoming a ROS customer and also to demonstrate how to file a return online, upload a file created offline, make payments and use the inbox facility.

Objective:          

1. Perform Month end and year end routines;
2. Understand Prepayments and Accruals;
3. Set up recurring entries;
4. Use Journals;
5. Run management Reports;
6. Query the system more effectively;
7. Create and Edit Reports and layout.

For the duration of the course each trainee will have access to technical support on the operation of the Sage software, which will comprise telephone and modem support.
