REMOTE START YOUR OWN BUSINESS BOOTCAMP via ZOOM

NOTE: In order to participate on Remote Training, you must have access to reliable Wi-Fi, have a microphone & camera on your laptop/tablet. Having both your camera and microphone on facilitates an interactive workshop, thereby enhancing learning and making for a more enjoyable and worthwhile experience.

This Remote two evening Start Your Own Business Bootcamp is an intensive course on Starting Your Own Business and will be delivered online via Zoom by Padraig Considine of Professional Accounting Solutions.

Dates: July 18th (Tuesday) + July 20th (Thursday) - 2023

Time: 6pm to 8pm each evening

COURSE OUTLINE:

Session 1

The focus with this session is to prepare participants who are thinking of starting up their own business to develop an awareness and practical understanding of the steps involved in becoming self-employed and starting up their own business.  The key areas which are looked at are:

• Start-up costs
• Running costs
• Preparation of a Business plan
• Pricing the product/service
• Different allowances and schemes available to new start-ups

Session 2

The focus with this session is on how to market your new start-up or business with little or no budget.  We will focus on a number of marketing techniques including the following:

• Marketing – 8 steps to marketing
• SWOT analysis
• Marketing Mix
• Digital marketing trends for 2023
• Opening a business bank account

The Start Your Own Business program is delivered through practical and interactive training. Participation and discussion are always encouraged by the Trainer and there are regular Q&A sessions on various topics.  

A ZOOM invitation and course content/notes is emailed to each participant before the course commences.
