This workshop will be delivered virtually using the highly engaging Zoom platform.

The workshop will be facilitated by DigitalHQ’s expert facilitator Eoin Costello.
To make the workshop as practical as possible it will leverage the case study of Novara Technology - a high growth start-up Eoin Costello took from start-up in the front bedroom of his home to Ireland’s second largest hosting company with 20 staff and a successful exit to Digiweb)

- Breaking down existing labour intensive processes into steps that can be improved, automated or contracted out based on whether they are “Clinchers or Threshold” activities - Tool of choice - Trello
- How to use digital platforms to leverage freelancers to do value-add and non-value add work - Platform of choice - Upwork
- How to remove certain routine tasks through automation
- How to set about your digital improvement project for your business using Stanford’s methodology for Design Led Thinking with a worked through example of Ireland’s national startup week, the Startup Gathering
- Creating a plan for the short (low risk quick wins like free tools such as Doodle Poll, Trello etc) and medium term for your business.
The Trainer - Eoin Costello
Eoin is Project director of DigitalHQ clg, whose mission is to help small businesses and social enterprises leverage digital.
- He is an expert trainer in digital marketing, social media and digital productivity tools.
- As the former CEO of Startup Ireland clg he rapidly built the new organisation’s impact through digital channels.
- He was national director of Ireland’s national startup week, the Startup Gathering which delivered 420 events in 22 counties.
- Eoin was also programme Manager TU Dublin Hothouse for 3 years where he managed the incubation centre and Ireland’s largest New Frontiers entrepreneur programme.
