The Local Enterprise Offices, Cork County Council and Cork City Council have a long association with local food businesses and recognise the important role that the food sector plays in Cork.  The continued development of the sector has been enhanced by our annual Food Business Development Programmes, by providing physical infrastructure to facilitate the provision of enterprise space and through the Economic Development Fund.

To build on this success and to continue developing the food sector in Cork, the Local Enterprise Office is launching a new Food Export Marketing Programme for already-established food businesses in the Cork region. This will assist food businesses in looking at export opportunities for the first time.

Tenders are being sought to appoint a programme provider who will manage both this new and exciting Programme and the International Food Trade Shows in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office.
