Network Cork will be holding its November event in Cork’s exclusive Salon Shop Hair & Beauty Supplies, Kinsale Road Roundabout, on Wednesday, November 5th at 6.15pm.
This unique event will shine the spotlight on three Network members who will showcase their skills and know how in the beauty, fashion and health industries. Ciara Wilson, owner of Salon Shop Hair & Beauty Supplies, along with her expert team, will treat members to a fantastic evening, with Ciara hosting this once off event.
This evening will be a great excuse for the Cork’s leading business women to come together for a fashionable social event, to get pampered as well as picking up some essential fashion tips to be on trend for 2015.
Mary Coleman, skin-care guru and proprietor of award winning salon “Beauty Regain”, will share tips and advice on skincare. By visually experiencing the treatments at the event, she and her team will provide an in depth insight on how the skin ages how to slow it down. Jessica Healy of “Art of Style”, a Cork based style and image consultant will share valuable tips on how working women can look and feel good every day with minimum effort. These top tips will show guests how to save time, stress and money when it comes to their wardrobes. Network Cork have also invited Network member Dr. Susan McLaughlin, Cork City Medical Centre, who will share advice on women’s health.
Network Cork’s President, Carla Manning stated “The winter is setting in and we all feel a little tired coming up to the end of the year, so what better way to re- energise. It’s fantastic to be able to call on our members to share their wealth of knowledge and expertise in so many areas – from the event hosting, catering and speakers – we have it all within our membership. I think this will be very special event with something for everyone and no doubt plenty of networking”
As the event will be held in the Salon Shop, members and guests will get the opportunity to visit the salon which houses exclusive brands including Montibello, Gelish,Morgan Taylor, Milkshake, 3D Browz, Alexandria Sugaring. The event will also be used as a Charity Drive for Network member Carmel O’ Keeffe of “Dress for Success” which helps women of all ages and backgrounds, who find themselves in challenging financial circumstances, to achieve economic independence for themselves and their families. This charity supports those who are actively seeking employment, where they meet with a trained stylist who will help her choose a professional outfit to wear to her job interview as well as receiving personal interview training from a HR professional. To support the charity, all guests attending the November event as asked to bring a handbag or winter coat.
The event is part of a series of an exciting mix of events and activities planned for 2014 by Network Cork. Network Cork represents some of the leading business women in the region and is supported by Cork Local Enterprise Offices in Cork. All Members and non-Members are encouraged to bring along business cards as the event will kick off with light refreshments and a Networking session where everyone will have the opportunity to meet other members and make new business contacts.
The event is free of charge to Network Cork Members, €25 for non-members.Space is limited and advance booking is essential.
