TENDER NOTICE: Training Delivery

The Local Enterprise Offices as outlined above are part of Cork County Council Economic Development Enterprise and Tourism and have the primary function of promoting enterprise and assisting with the development of micro-enterprises at local level. The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) supports include financial assistance (subject to eligibility), business advice, mentoring, training, networking and the trading online vouchers.

As per the Enterprise Development Plan, the provision of training is a fundamental aspect of LEO supports to entrepreneurs in the region. The Local Enterprise Office currently provides a wide range of training opportunities for the small business manager owner, all of which are highly subsidized. These programmes equip entrepreneurs, owners and managers with the knowledge to plan, grow and sustain productivity, innovation and competitiveness.

The Local Enterprise Offices are currently seeking tenders for all Training delivery for the period of 1st January 2018 until the 31st of December 2019. Training providers may tender for multiple programmes. Please specify if you wish to deliver in all locations/or for a particular LEO Office.

The successful proposals will be selected following an evaluation process conducted by Local Enterprise Office South Cork and Local Enterprise Office Cork North & West on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender and including the following criteria (weights in brackets):

Expertise & experience in a similar role (25%)
Quality & innovation of approach (20%)
Content (20%)
All inclusive cost (25%)
Management & administration (10%)

The LEOs may shortlist tenders for interview on the basis of the online tenders before taking a final decision on tender selection. The LEOs are not obliged to accept the lowest, or any, tender. The LEOs may decide, following evaluation of tenders, not to proceed or to proceed with a limited number of elements of the proposal. The LEOs may also decide to appoint more than one training provider where deemed appropriate and in-particular for programmes where demand is high.
