This is a 2-part workshop delivered online. The first workshop session will assist small businesses with understanding the fundamentals of supply chain and procurement and how to use these to build resilience into their businesses . The purpose is to provide participants with a practical understanding of the processes of the identification of needs and how to forecast purchasing requirements; how to discover, assess and negotiate with suppliers; spend analysis and category management; and understanding how to map and mitigate risk in their supply chain. The second workshop session will explain the fundamentals of tendering for both public and private organizations, understanding the eTenders public procurement platform and will describe SME pathways to access Innovation in Public Procurement. Participants will be encouraged to actively participate and course will use relevant examples to demonstrate the concepts explored”.
