What is the Student Enterprise Programme?

• Enterprise Education Programme run by the Network of Local Enterprise Office of Ireland (LEO’s) supported by a Student Enterprise Coordinator that works with your school, teachers and students to offer help and advice throughout the programme.
• Largest and most student enterprise programme with over 25,000 students taking part each year nationally and over 2,200 students from 27 of the 29 schools participating in County Tipperary in 2023/2024.
• Runs from September to May each year and students from 1^st year to 6^th year get to set up their own business and do everything a real-life entrepreneur would do, from coming up with the business idea to marketing and writing a business plan.
• County Finals take place in February/March each year in Tipperary.
• One student team goes forward from each category Junior 1^st  year, Intermediate 2^nd  & 3^rd  year and Senior Transition Year, 4^th  year, 5^th  year, 6^th  year, LCA, LCVP and Youth Reach students to take part in the National Final in May 2024 to be named Student Enterprise of the Year.
