This 2 part workshop looks at the power of video and how to market it online via social media and/or through their website

This course which runs over 2 mornings (Tues 28 & Wed 29 November) is ideal for those who may or may not have formal marketing training but are responsible for the marketing of their business.

The workshop will give participants a better insight into their business and approach to video marketing. It will look at video marketing opportunities, knowing your public and your customers, your unique selling point and being aware of the competition.

It will focus on video marketing strategies and how they can work for each participants business as well as looking at the importance of measuring your marketing activities results.

Participants will leave with a greater understanding of video marketing and general marketing practices and how these can work together to form the basis of their marketing plan.

Workshop Content:

  • • Marketing Health Check – assessment of your brand, business and sector
  • • The Communications Mix – general understanding of where digital and video slot into the mix
  • • Identify, fortify and use your Unique Selling Points
  • • Creating a strong clear message for video marketing of your business
  • • What’s your video for? An Elevator Pitch? If so what is your elevator pitch?
  • • How to create a video – step by step – practical session from storyboarding, scripting, voiceovers and actors, backdrops, props, graphics and much more.
  • • How to market your video across multiple mediums effectively
  • • Measuring your campaigns

Prerequisites for completing the programme:-

* You must ensure that you have the following apps (free of charge) downloaded in advance of the Webinar 

* Please note, there is a practical element to this course and will require your own Smartphone and/or iPad/tablet in addition to the device you will be using to take part in the online course.

* Participants will need a camera and mic facility to see and hear the tutor & ask questions, receive direction from their course facilitator as required and so the tutor can see them also throughout the webinar

* Participants will need to join the session on a device other than their phones as there will be doing a lot of practical work on the phones during the session and two devices is more beneficial than one.
