Intermediate/Advanced Facebook Marketing

Facebook is constantly changing and is evolving into an advertising platform for businesses. This training will ensure that you are up to speed on the latest Facebook advertising techniques.

There are two reasons why businesses need to understand how to advertise on Facebook:

1)      On average, less than 9% of followers now see updates from a page so the old way of marketing on Facebook is over and

2)      Facebook ads are an amazing and affordable way of getting into anyone’s newsfeed to tell them about your products or offer, simply by spending a small amount of money e.g. for €3-€4 you can get your message out to thousands of potential customers.

This Intermediate/Advanced Facebook Advertising course goes way beyond “how to boost a post” and shows you all the latest techniques. This is a hands-on workshop and on the course you will setup different types of advertising campaigns.

Note: Delegates MUST have a Facebook account and be familiar with Facebook. Please bring your Facebook logins on the day. This course is not suitable for you if you are new to Facebook and do not know how to use it.

Duration: One full day

  1. The main ways to use Facebook for marketing and how Facebook has turned into an advertising channel.
  2. The different types of ads you can run on Facebook.
  3. How to target people based on their location (10 miles from your town or within your county or nationwide) based on their age and gender, whether they are married, single or engaged.
  4. Advanced techniques for targeting people based on what they are interested in i.e. if they are interested in the product or service you offer.
  5. Advanced targeting techniques such as:
  • how to advertise to people who recently visited your website (retargeting).
  • How to advertise on Facebook to your LinkedIn connections.
  • How to target your customers if you have their email addresses.
  • How to target people who are very similar to your existing followers (Lookalike audiences).
  1. How to drive people to your website and track the number of sales or enquiries the ad campaign generated.
  2. How to design your Facebook ads using Picmonkey.com. What type of ads work and don’t work and tips for writing the text on your ads.
  3. How to monitor and analyse your advertising.
