Course Objectives

This course is designed to enable all participants to take their Facebook strategy and activity to the next level and increase sales and leads.

Course Outcomes

At the end of the workshop(s) each participant will:

  • Have developed/ amended the Facebook strategy for their business and have the knowledge and tools to be able to implement their strategy.
  • Have access to a range of Facebook tools to aid with developing advanced and interactive content.

Course Content

Module1 (24 February)

  • Creating a Facebook strategy – key steps in creating a robust strategy
  • Setting objectives, goals and KPI’s
  • Facebook Insights – a walk through Facebook insights and how to read the reports
  • Tone of voice: defining their brand personality and tone of voice for their social channels
  • Designing creative visual content using Canva and Wave.video. Enabling them to take their visual content to a new level.
  • Reviewing page set up – ensuring the right foundations are in place to take their strategy to the next level.
  • Understanding Facebook’s news feed filter to ensure high organic reach and engagement – key steps on how to beat the filter.

Module 2 (4 March)

  • Evolving a content strategy using a range of Facebook tools like slideshow, carousal, Instant Experiences, Stories etc.
  • Understanding Facebook Open Graph and how it impacts content sharing from your website
  • Running competitions is one of the most popular activities on Facebook, participants will learn about Facebook promotion guidelines and how to run a successful competition. Using competitions to collect data for email marketing database.
  • Creating lead forms for data collection / lead collection using ads (for use in ads)
  • Facebook live: how to run a live stream, key considerations and features
  • Case Studies – showcasing relevant case studies
