Pre-requisites
- Participants should have an active Instagram account and be publishing at least a few times a month. Participants should bring their laptop AND their smartphone to this course to be able to participate in the practical elements.
- It is important that participants can navigate and move between Zoom and their web browser on the day. Help documents can be provided if required.

This course will enable participants to take their Instagram activity and content to a new level for greater engagement and reach.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the workshop(s) each participant will know how to use IGTV, Reels and other key features like Stories for increased reach and engagement
Course Content
- Creating an Instagram strategy and setting objectives, goals and KPI’s. Instagram insights- a walk around the key insights available within the app and other free or low-cost tools for analyzing engagement rates
- Building a successful brand on Instagram using visual content
- Influence marketing and how to leverage influencers to become influential
- Understanding Instagram’s newsfeed filter and how to ensure you are discoverable in search and visible in your follower’s newsfeed.
- Features: an introduction to advanced tools and features like creating highlights, IGTV, IGTV series, Reels etc.
- Hashtags: understanding how hashtags increase the reach of their Instagram wall images and stories.
- Stories – how to use them successful and the importance of using interactive stickers.
- Scheduling wall posts and stories
