Wink & Elebow - Coming Out of Covid

Wink & Elbow celebrated its first birthday on July 9th of this year.  A delightfully eclectic store Wink & Elbow offers a wide range of unique and quirky interior and exterior homeware, lighting, textiles through to giftware such as skincare products and jewellery.

Dungarvan native Eimear Sheehan had a vision to open a store that would help her customers create a unique statement in and about their homes.  Eimear’s eye for colour, textile and the unconventional has the store filled with exceptional furniture, that is funky and fun and certainly one-of-a-kind!

With the advent of COVID-19, and only after eight months of trading, Eimear had to close the doors of her store on March 13th.  In line with the Government’s roadmap to reopening the economy, Wink & Elbow reopened its doors on June 9th (Phase 2).

Stringent measures were put in place to ensure the safety of Wink & Elbows customers and suppliers and include:

  • Hand sanitisation upon entering the store
  • Perspex guards at point of sale
  • Staff facemasks

While in lockdown Wink & Elbow traded online via their Shopify site so the ranges were continually added to and updated as more and more customers embraced online shopping.
