The third annual Waterford Chamber Multi-Sector Conference will focus on Operational Excellence and Energy Management. Operational Excellence is an element of organizational leadership that stresses the application of a variety of principles, systems and tools toward the sustainable improvement of a business. The philosophy of lean management, undertaken by a workplace where problem-solving and teamwork results in the ongoing improvement, is successful in both the manufacturing and the services sectors. Energy Management processes monitor and control energy-consuming systems, in the most energy-efficient manner, through software programmes and provide information to help decide how assets and operational conditions can be optimised to reduce costs.30 Registration
