National Women's Enterprise Day 2015

National Women's Enterprise Day 2015

Creating Connections and Building Building Business.

Waterford Local Enterprise Office are looking for women in business to represent us at this year’s National Women's Enterprise Day which takes place in Galway on 21st & 22nd October, at The Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, Galway.

There are a limited number of places on offer and these will be allocated strictly on a first come first served basis.

The LEO would like to offer this to female entrepreneurs within Waterford and we will pay the cost of attendance directly to the organisers and accommodation will be reimbursed after attendance for the successful applicants.

The aim of National Women’s Enterprise Day is to encourage even more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs. The event consists of a variety of developmental support actions, including inspiring speakers, information provision, exhibition of state supports for enterprise, facilitated business networking and one to one business mentoring.

Keynote speakers at NWED 2015 will be Deirdre Bounds, TV Presenter, business mentor and author, and Oonagh O'Hagan of Meaghers Pharmacy. A wide variety of speakers from a cross section of businesses will inform and inspire attendees throughout NWED 2015.

Advice, mentoring and networking are key elements of National Women's Enterprise Day with a panel of experienced mentors available. Successful businesswomen share their experiences with start-up companies and fledgling businesses.
