Since opening in 2003 as a tourist attraction offering a 40 minute trip on six kilometers of the abandoned Waterford – Dungarvan route, from the station at Kilmeadan into Carriganore we have had close to 100,000 visitors.
The opening of Metalman Brewing's new brewery at Tycor Business Centre in Waterford City has allowed it to significantly grow its business. Having been previously stifled by production capacity Metalman Brewing has unfortunately had to turn down some business in the past.
The Waterford Blaa can now reach significantly more markets including a summer of festivals thanks to funding sourced from the Waterford Local Enterprise Office.
