Waterford Craft Businesses Impress at Showcase

The Waterford Local Enterprise Office stand at the RDS Showcase this year brought together exceptional craft and gift makers from six wonderfully diverse disciplines. The stand itself was professionally designed and this together with the wonderful variety of creative gifts made a huge impact at the show.

The Waterford exhibitor selection included Celtic-inspired gifts such as Michelle Vagg’s copper jewellery and Peter Atkins’ intricate replicas depicting Ireland’s megalithic monuments.  Locally sourced wood and honey featured in two exhibits – the natural organic honey skincare and beeswax products range by Trish O’Neill and the beautiful contemporary hand turned wood bowls, platters and gifts created by Fred O’Mahony.

Anne McDonnell and Ken Coleman showcased their quirky collaborative silver jewellery and prints ‘Metal and Ink’ range and Pippa Sweeney launched her highly original ‘Good Wishes’ wedding and baby gift range both for wholesale and online sales.

All the exhibitors are hugely appreciative of the wonderful opportunity Waterford LEO has provided to promote their products, skills and craftsmanship at Showcase 2016 and are excited about new contacts, opportunities and sales that the show has brought for them.
