Intro to Twitter for Business - Live Online Training

This workshop is perfect for individuals that are wishing to use Twitter as a tool to benefit their business.

At the end of the workshop each participant will:

  • Have set up a Business Twitter account
  • Be aware of the different ways to use Twitter: personal vs. business
  • Know how to use Twitter to build a relevant network and for customer acquisition Twitter

Course Content

  • Choosing a username and writing an effective bio
  • Features and tools: a walk-through key feature
  • Composing and sending tweets. Engaging with tweets
  • Using the search function
  • Tagging accounts and using hashtags.
  • Bookmarking tweets
  • Creating lists
  • Blocking and muting topics and accounts
  • Understanding Twitter timeline filter and how to increase organic reach and engagement
  • Twitter etiquette – the dos and do nots
  • Hashtags – what they are, creating a hashtag and how to use them effectively
  • Case Studies – showcasing relevant case studies


Participants should have gone through the basics of setting up a Twitter account (if possible) and verified their email address.

Attendees should have a smartphone (fully charged) and use their laptop/PC/tablet to access the Zoom session.
