Thinking Around Corners has been developed to allow participants to check out a range of different and exciting ways of assessing and dealing with problems and discovering and creating opportunities for future success. The five-session course is highly interactive with oodles of experiential components and a huge dollop of fun. Moving on from the topics covered in 'Thinking Around Corners 2022' this online course looks into five more elements of successful business development i.e Resilience, Pivoting, Ideation, Judgement and Momentum Creation.

Who is this course for?  

It’s for managers, leaders and entrepreneurs at all levels of development. The course will enable all participants to explore new ways of thinking and behaving in order to develop
● Their own skill sets and
● Their teams opportunities to flourish and most importantly
● Their businesses' future success!

What topics will the course cover? 

This course will look at five distinct methods that can be used in business to enhance innovative thinking, behaving and predicting. The topics and schedule are as follows;

  • 5th September -   6.30pm to 8.30pm – Webinar 1 - Resilience - Why resilience is vital to business development

  • 12th September - 6.30pm to 8.30pm – Webinar 2 - Pivoting - Why pivot? When to pivot? How to pivot your business

  • 19th September - 6.30pm to 8.30pm – Webinar 3 - Ideation - How to use the most effective team idea-gathering exercises

  • 26th September - 6.30pm to 8.30pm – Webinar 4 - Judgement - How to assess your decision-making skills. How to increase your chances of making the best choices at the right time.

  • 3rd October       - 6.30pm to 8.30pm -  Webinar 5 - Momentum Creation - How to create, increase and maintain momentum for your organisation's key projects and initiatives

Platform and Format:

5 X 90-minute interactive sessions delivered via Zoom. Maximum 12 attendees per session. Each session will include     

  • Hands-on experiential activities for attendees to get a chance to trial any method presented. 
  • A number of ways to apply suggestions and methods to attendees’ business settings. 
  • An opportunity for attendees to assess how methods and suggestions were trialled in their workplace.   
  • A framework to fully implement suggested actions within attendees’ business. 
  • An opportunity to time travel (always useful when checking out new ways of finding solutions).
