New eCommerce Bootcamps for Craft and Design Businesses

eCommerce Bootcamp

Applications are now open for the DCCI/LEO eCommerce Bootcamp – a new three-part business training series for Irish designers and makers, focused on increasing online sales by optimising eCommerce and digital platforms. The series is presented by Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI), in association with Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) nationwide.

The programme is designed as a practical and focused support to enable you to understand your business’s on-line sales potential, and more importantly to learn the necessary steps to achieve it.

  • The DCCI/LEO eCommerce Bootcamp is open to all registered clients of DCCI
  • The programme has been designed to provide practical and tailored training to each participant at their own specific stage of online business development.
  • This programme will commence in August and run through until December 2021. You must be willing to commit the necessary time to properly benefit from the programme. If you do not currently have the time please defer and allow another client to take the place.
  • It is required that you already have some level of online presence[1].
  • Selection for the programme will be conducted by a panel of Digital experts and participation is free (once selected).
  • While a lot of what you learn on this programme you will be able to do yourself or through family and friends, it is important to also note that there will be a financial investment required for every business wishing to grow sales online. If you have not yet applied for your Trading Online Voucher (TOV) you will be assisted in doing so.
  • Evaluation of outputs will be required by DCCI/LEO at the end of the programme.
