How to Access Public Sector Tenders/How to Write a Winning Tender

“How to Access Public Sector Tenders/How to Write a Winning Tender”

This Programme covers a topic relevant to virtually all small businesses in the County - Public Procurement. The procurement landscape in the public sector is changing to become much more transparent and straightforward for suppliers. In particular there is a drive towards encouraging small and medium businesses to engage more in this lucrative €16 billion per annum all-island market.

The Local Enterprise Office Westmeath and Westmeath County Council are hosting this 2 day Event. The Programme is specifically designed for small and micro businesses, from one-person operations to those with dozens of employees. The aim is to provide clear information on how to register to be informed of tender opportunities that arise. Terms such as PINs (prior information notices), RFTs (requests for tenders) and Frameworks will be explained, and tender publication websites will be given. Criteria for evaluating tenders will also be covered. In short, this is an essential programme for any business of any size in County Westmeath to attend. Guest speakers include the Procurement Officer of Westmeath County Council.
