Request for Quotation to Deliver Trading Online Voucher Webinar

Request for quotation for the Trading Online Voucher (TOV) Webinar

Due to the uncertainties facing small businesses due to Co-Vid 19, we are reaching out and asking trainers/mentors/consultants who possess the necessary knowledge and experience in the area of online trading to send us a quotation for the Trading Online Voucher (TOV) Webinar.

The purpose of this webinar is to advise and inform small business owners/managers who are interested in applying for the Trading Online Voucher (TOV) Scheme. Full details of the scheme and the application form are available through this link: https://www.localenterprise.ie/Westmeath/Financial-Supports/Trading-Online-Voucher-Scheme/  It is necessary that the webinar facilitator be familiar with this scheme and how it works.

The Webinar should be approx. 2 hours in length and give participants advise to help them maximise the quality of their online trading project ahead of applying for the TOV. The session should include an interactive Q&A session, to answer any questions the attendee has. Topics to cover in this webinar can include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • The importance of trading online for small businesses
  • Tools for helping your business trade online (Web design, booking system, apps, social media, search engine optimisation, digital marketing strategy)
  • Advise on best practice when getting quotes, for choosing a provider to engage.
  • Tips for getting a good website for your business/what to put in a website specification/what to ask your website designer for
  • The importance of quality images
  • What the TOV can be used for and how the scheme works.
  • Outline the TOV application and approval process

Microsoft Teams and GoToWebinar are suggested software providers for audio and video conferencing which can be used for meetings hosted internally and externally. These platforms are proven from both a data protection and IT security perspective.

Please note: In order to avoid a conflict of interest in the delivery of this seminar, it is preferred that the chosen trainer/company does not offer any of the services to small businesses that the voucher can cover. The purpose of the seminar is to give impartial advise on what you can apply for a TOV for and how to complete the application. Applicants are then required to source quotes independently of the Local Enterprise Office, as we are a government agency and cannot recommend and give preference to specific businesses.

Please submit a course proposal by filling out the attached application form to be submitted no later than Tuesday  21st April at 4pm by email to localenterpise@westmeathcoco.ie and deborah.stenson@leo.westmeathcoco.ie  It must include the cost and course details.
