Roundabout Advertisement Scheme 2020

Applications are invited from interested individuals, businesses or organisations who wish to benefit from advertisement opportunities on selected Roundabouts located around the county. Successful applicants will be permitted to have their signs erected on their chosen Roundabout(s) for a twelve-month period commencing January 2020. Applicants are invited to offer bids to advertise on the Roundabout(s) of their choice and whilst the highest bidder will generally be offered the advertising opportunity, the Council will not bind itself to accept the highest or any bid on any particular Roundabout.

How do I apply to advertise on a Roundabout?

Log on to our website, www.westmeathcoco.ie , where there will be a prominent link on the Home Page, from where the explanatory documentation of the Roundabout Advertisement Scheme (including the “Application Form” and “Bid Offer Form”) can be downloaded.

 

The explanatory document with “Application Form” and “Bid Offer Form” may also be obtained by contacting;

Closing date;

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is noon on Friday 11 October 2019.

 

Location of the 25 selected Roundabouts;

10 in Athlone – Moate Municipal District

Creggan, Clonbrusk, Cornamaddy, Arcadia, Altown, Garrycastle, Wash House Turn, and Willow Park roundabouts in Athlone Town. Also included are the Bawnoges roundabout in Moate and the Tyrrellspass roundabout on the N52.

 

15 in Mullingar – Kinnegad Municipal District

Clonmore, Farren, Rathgowan, Bloomfield, Brosna, Grange South, Robinstown, Lakepoint, Lynn, Newbrook, Irishtown, Lynn Road, Farranshock, and Marlinstown all of which are located around Mullingar town. Also included is the roundabout in Kinnegad, nearest Tesco.
