Cottage industries and handmade crafters have always had the Christmas markets each year to sell their wares, this year, with COVID-19, much of these opportunities have been taken away.  This programme is aimed at Craft makers, artists, clothing makers who want to sell pieces online. 

This course will help them to sell to their regular customer base and beyond by setting up an online store in the simplest way possible while equipping them with the tools to promote their store using their social media channels.

Within a highly interactive and collaborative workshop you will be equipped to:

• Learn the value of good photography and how to take great photos for selling your creations.
• Tips on how to deal with the mindset of selling.
• How to write descriptions that maximise interest and sales.
• How to manage your customers.
• Presentation and Packaging – the importance of it.
• How to ask for customer reviews.
• How to nurture your customers after they have bought from you.
• Introduction to using Social Media for selling.
• The importance of story in selling work.

The course is intended to be hands-on, with handouts and examples to involve the participants. The facilitators will encourage the participants to ask questions, contribute to discussions and apply the material to their own experiences.

Training will be delivered remotely, through a combination of secure, private, ZOOM video conferences and supporting on-line material.
