This is the mandatory seminar for anyone interested in applying for a Trading Online Voucher.
This scheme is an initiative under the Government's National Digital Strategy, the Trading Online Voucher Scheme helps small businesses trade more online to boost their sales and reach new markets. This scheme has 50% support available up to a maximum of €2,500, with further supports provided by Local Enterprise Offices. Funding can be used towards eligible costs such as digital marketing strategies, e-commerce websites or app development. As part of the application process you must attend an information session such at this workshop or similar.
The objectives of this seminar are to provide participants with:
- An understanding of the importance, value and opportunities available with trading online
- The requirements of the Trading Online Voucher Scheme, eligibility, application & evaluation process, applicable costs and application overview
- Provide knowledge on the factors that influence e-commerce, popular platforms overviews, ongoing considerations & costs associated with trading online
- Sourcing quotes: How to define your needs and how to get the best from your web developer
- The importance of brand quality, tone of voice
- SEO, digital marketing & social media

At the end of the training session - a copy of the slides, resources and application form link will be emailed to participants.
Participants will require a PC (laptop, tablet or phone), strong WIFI connection and a set of headphones with inbuilt microphone. Also recommended to have a pen and paper to hand to take notes, or make notes of questions however slide deck and seminar resources are made available after seminar via email.
