Event to celebrate International Women’s Day
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across county Wexford. As we emerge from the uncertainty of the pandemic to the brightness of Spring, in solidarity with each other, we now have an opportunity to meet face to face embracing the need for care and creativity, and to celebrate and advance gender equality.
SPEAKER
Author and organisational adviser Jacinta M. Kitt: Importance of Empowerment for Effectiveness and Wellbeing
Jacinta will outline the importance of taking care of yourself, empowering yourself for better effectiveness and improved wellbeing. This includes strategies such as accurately assessing what you can and cannot do, using your psychological resources, communicating your needs assertively, managing stress, and focusing on self-awareness, change, and improvements.
Jacinta is experienced in providing strategies for improving communication in every environment. She provides professional development training on the characteristics, skills, and benefits of creating and maintaining a positive/effective work environment.
She also conducts sessions on effective interpersonal behaviours and relationships in homes, schools, and workplaces. Her book, Positive Behaviours, Relationships, and Emotion … the heart of leadership in a school, was published in 2017.
