Participants will decide which information matters most to them and will learn how to make that information easily accessible.

Topics covered will include the following:

  • The Google Analytics dashboards - creating and customising
  • Organic traffic vs paid traffic
  • Understanding your traffic sources: direct, referral, search and social
  • Reports: A look at some of Google Analytics most useful reports
  • Segmenting, filtering and exporting reports
  • Adding your most-used reports to the dashboard
  • Setting up automated emailed reports
  • Finding out which queries returned your site in a search engine
  • Analysing your visitors’ behaviour and technology

At the end of this course participants will have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of Google Analytics. They will be able to navigate through it to understand their audience, their website traffic, what content is engaging people and how to use all this information to build a strategic plan for the future.
