A one hour LinkedIn for Business Clinic aimed at business professionals who have a LinkedIn profile, ranging from those who have very little information on them to those that are quite sophisticated. Complete beginners and experienced users alike will benefit from looking objectively at their LinkedIn presence.

The aim of this clinic is to analyse all aspects of the participant’s LinkedIn profile and see how it can be improved to make it more effective in building their network and promoting their business. Each session will be geared towards the specific needs of the participant but topics are likely to include many of the following:

• An overview of LinkedIn and what it is used for
• Understanding the power of a well-presented LinkedIn profile, and learning how to optimise your profile
• How to use the search function effectively
• Building connections on LinkedIn and knowing when not to connect
• Posting status updates and creating articles
• An in-depth explanation of the newsfeed
• How to raise your profile by engaging with your newsfeed
• Harnessing the power of LinkedIn to create business opportunities
• Giving, receiving and asking for recommendations
• Groups – what they are, how to find them and their benefits
• Setting up a LinkedIn company page and using it to build your brand

At the end of the session each participant will have a much better knowledge of how to leverage the power of LinkedIn to expand their network, engage with their connections and groups and boost their online profile.
