What is the Local Enterprise Office Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown?

Local Enterprise Office Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown is part of a network of Local Enterprise Offices nationwide. The role of the LEO is to support and provide assistance to existing and potential small business promoters located in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown county, Dublin. In addition, the LEO for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown aims to foster the development of an enterprise culture. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Local Enterprise Office is funded by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and the European Commission. 

Local Enterprise Office Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown previously traded as Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Board. The 2012 Action Plan for Jobs committed to delivering an enhanced, expanded and more integrated support service for micro-enterprise and small businesses in Ireland.  As part of these reforms Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) were created within Local Authorities and the 35 existing County & City Enterprise Boards (CEBs) were dissolved. These new LEOs will build on the significant achievements of the County Enterprise Boards to date and will offer an expanded range of supports.
