What is Lean for Micro?

The Lean for Micro programme gives businesses a set of tools and techniques to help improve competitiveness, build the capability of staff to identify issues and improve operations. On successful completion of the Lean for Micro programme, you will have the knowledge and skills to enable you to undertake lean projects, resulting in improvements in productivity and profitability.

 

Who is the programme for?

Lean for Micro is developed for companies with established operations in service or manufacturing.

Businesses employing 5 or more staff are most likely to benefit the most from the programme.

Note: this programme is not appropriate for sole traders or early stage start-ups.

 

What’s involved?

​Participants will receive group training and individual support from a designated mentor over c. 3 months to bring practical project tasks to a successful conclusion.

  • 2 half days of workshop training
  • 5 x 3.5 hour 1:1 mentoring
  • 1 follow up workshop
